The audit log
See who signed in and who changed what in a brand, filter by person, area or date, and download it as a CSV.
Updated
The audit log records sign-ins and changes to a brand’s settings: who did it, when, and what changed. Owners and admins find it on Settings, then Audit log.
What is recorded
Use the Area filter to narrow it down to one of these:
- Sign-ins, and Signed-out devices
- Two-step sign-in, Passkeys and Single sign-on
- Members: invitations, people joining, role changes, changes to which accounts someone can work on, and removals
- Brand: the brand’s settings
- Rules
- Connected accounts: connecting, reconnecting and removing
- Billing
- API keys
Changes made by CommentGate itself show as CommentGate with Automatic under it, and changes made through an API key show the key’s name.
Entries are kept for 13 months.
Find something
- Person: one teammate, API keys, or CommentGate’s automatic changes.
- Area: one of the areas above.
- From and To: a date range. Times are shown in your own timezone.
The newest entries come first. Select Show older at the bottom for more.
Download it
Select Download CSV (the download button next to the filters). The file contains the entries that match your current filters.
What it does not cover
The audit log is about the brand’s settings and sign-ins. What happened to individual comments (who hid, allowed or replied to one, and why) is shown on the comment itself in Activity.
