Questions
Which platforms send the message?
Facebook and Instagram. They let a brand answer a public comment with a private message. TikTok, YouTube and Threads do not, so there CommentGate saves the lead and can reply publicly.
Will someone get the message twice?
Not for the same comment. Facebook and Instagram allow one private reply per comment, and CommentGate sends at most that one.
What does "lead" mean here?
A comment from someone who wants to buy, like "how do I order?" or "take my money". You choose how sure CommentGate should be before a comment counts.
Do the messages count toward my plan?
Yes. Every plan counts comments and automated messages together, so each message a campaign sends on its own counts once, like a comment. Messages you type yourself do not count, and people and contacts are unlimited. If you set a spending cap and reach it, campaign messages pause until the next month and we email you.
Can I see what the campaign earned?
You see comments matched, messages sent, link clicks and leads. If your store reports sales back from the tracked link, revenue shows as well.
