Answer people who message you from an ad

Ads with a "Send message" button open a chat with you instead of a web page. The Someone messages you from an ad trigger starts a campaign when a chat comes from one of the ads you pick, so each ad can open with its own offer.

This is different from comments on ads. To answer people who comment on an ad, use Answer comments with a keyword with Ads only.

Set it up

1. In Ads Manager, copy the ad id of each ad that opens a chat.
2. In CommentGate, click New campaign and pick Start from scratch.
3. Click the trigger card, and under Starts when pick Someone messages you from an ad.
4. Under Listens on, tick Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp.
5. Paste the ad ids into Ads and press Enter after each.
6. Add your steps, for example a welcome DM with the product link, then Ask for email or phone.
7. Click Turn on.

For WhatsApp, use ads whose button opens a chat in WhatsApp.

What you can send

The person started the chat, so it is open: you can send several messages, ask questions and check they follow on Instagram, within 24 hours of their last message.
