Pause, edit or stop a live campaign
Edits to a live campaign wait until you publish them, people already in it finish the version they started, and pausing can let them finish or stop them.

A live campaign keeps running while you work on it. Nothing you change reaches customers until you say so.
Edit a live campaign
- Open the campaign and change what you need. Your edits save as you go, and the status under the title says Live, with changes not published yet.
- When you are ready, click Publish changes.
Until then, everyone keeps getting the version that was live before. The board checks your edits the same way it checks a new campaign, so Publish changes stays grey while anything under Before it can go live is left.
You can change the words, accounts, posts, ads and every step. Starts when is locked once a campaign has been turned on: duplicate it from the ... menu to start from another trigger.
People already in the campaign
Everyone finishes the version they started on. If someone tapped Send my code an hour ago and you then change the code message and publish, they still get the old message; the next person who comments gets the new one. That way nobody lands on a step that no longer exists.
The numbers on the board add up across versions, so publishing does not reset them.
Pause
Open the campaign, open the ... menu and click Pause. You get a choice:
- By default, nobody new starts it, and people already in it finish the steps they are on.
- Tick Also stop it for everyone already in it to stop at once. They get no more messages from this campaign.
Pause in a campaign's menu on the Campaigns list does the default: people already in it finish.
Turn it back on
Click Turn on. If you edited it while it was paused, Turn on publishes your edits, and Turn on as last published in the ... menu turns it back on without them.
Stop it for one person
Open the person in People (or the person panel in Messages). Their campaigns are listed with a Stop button next to each one they are still in. A Send to a person step also stops the campaign talking to them, so your team can take over.
Delete
Delete is in the ... menu. It stops the campaign for good; its leads and link clicks stay.
