Assign comments, leave notes and mention teammates
Hand a comment to a teammate, leave a note only your team sees, and @mention someone so they get told.
Updated
Work on comments together without stepping on each other.
Assign a comment
- Open the comment in Activity.
- Click the Assign icon at the top (or press M to assign it to yourself).
- Pick Assign to me or a teammate under Teammates. Unassign clears it.
The teammate's picture shows on the comment in the list. Everyone sees their own under Assigned to me in the sidebar, and you can filter by Assigned to in Filter.
To assign many at once, select them and click Assign in the bar at the bottom.
Leave a note
Open the comment, click the Notes tab and write in the box: "Add a note for your team. Type @ to mention someone." Notes are only seen by your team, never posted.
You can edit or delete your own notes.
Mention someone
Type @ in a note and pick a teammate. They see it under Mentions in the sidebar (with a count of new ones) and get an email. Mentions lists every note that mentioned you, newest first, with a link to the comment or conversation.
Notes and mentions work the same in Messages: switch the box under a conversation from Reply to Note.
