Add your product catalog

The question people ask most under an ad is some version of "how much, is it in stock, does it come in my size". Add your product catalog once, and replies answer those questions from your real products.

Open Settings, then Integrations, and find Product catalog. There are three ways to add products, and you can use more than one.

From Meta

If you run catalog ads, or sell through Facebook or Instagram, your products are already in a Meta catalog.

1. Under Product catalog, click Choose next to Add from Meta.
2. Tick the catalogs you want answers to use, then click Add catalog.

Your products appear within a few seconds, and are checked again every hour. When a price or a stock level changes in Commerce Manager, replies use the new value after the next check.

If the row says to reconnect, your Meta connection was made before catalogs could be read. Open Accounts, reconnect Meta, and allow access to your catalogs when Meta asks.

Upload a product feed

Selling on TikTok only, or keeping your products in a spreadsheet? Upload a CSV or TSV file under Upload a product feed.

The file uses the same columns as a Meta or Google Merchant Center feed. Only three are required:

Give every size and color its own row, with the same item_group_id, so a reply can say which sizes are left.

Rows that cannot be read (no id, no title, or a price like "call us") are skipped, and the page tells you which rows and why. To update an uploaded file, upload it again with the same file name.

A feed URL

If your store already publishes a feed at a public web address, paste it under Feed URL and click Add. It is read again every hour, and nothing changes on your side when the feed has not changed.

Removing a catalog

Click Remove next to it. Replies stop using its products at once. Nothing in your Meta catalog or your store changes: CommentGate only reads your products, never edits them.
