Emails and phone numbers people give you, and exporting them
How emails and phone numbers get onto a person, how to fix them, and how to download everyone as a CSV.
Updated
How they get there
- A campaign asks. A campaign step can ask for an email or a phone number in a DM. What they type (or what Messenger and Instagram fill in for them with one tap) is checked and saved on the person.
- You type it in. Open the person in People or Messages, fill in Email or Phone under Contact, and click Save.
A person with no email or phone shows "Not given" in the list.
If you connected Klaviyo or Meta under Settings, Integrations, a new email or phone is passed on there too. Klaviyo only subscribes people who agreed to marketing email when they answered, and only if you chose to subscribe them.
Find everyone who gave one
In People, click Filter and set Contact info to Has an email or phone, Has an email or Has a phone number.
Export to CSV
- In People, search or filter to the people you want (or nobody, for everyone).
- Click Export CSV.
The file follows your search and filters, up to 50,000 people. Columns: Name, Handle, Platform, Account, Email, Phone, Tags, Came from, Last message and First seen.
Members limited to certain accounts only export the people on those accounts.
Get told when details change
In Settings, Alerts, tick A person's email, phone or tags changed or A buyer lead came in on a channel. See Alerts.
