Use CommentGate from Claude, ChatGPT or a terminal

You can work CommentGate from an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, or from a terminal. Everything you do there counts just like doing it in CommentGate: answering a comment that needs you teaches the autopilot the same way.

What you can ask an assistant

• "What is waiting for me?" It lists what needs you, with the reason for each.
• "Hide that one" or "Reply: thanks, we just sent you a message." It hides, keeps or replies.
• "How did this week go?" It pulls the same totals as your reports.
• "Stop hiding links" or "Add this to our guidance." It changes your guidance and protection switches, if your role allows it.
• "Record a $129 sale for this click." It records sales from tracked links.

Connect an assistant

Add commentgate.com/mcp as a custom connector in your assistant, then sign in to CommentGate when it asks and pick the brand. For example, in Claude: Customize, Connectors, +, Add custom connector, and paste the address.

The assistant acts as you, with your role: a moderator can answer and hide, and only owners, admins and managers can change guidance and protections. Removing someone from the brand cuts off their assistant too.

The command line

Work through what is waiting, hide and reply, change guidance and protections, and pull reports from a terminal, or script any of it. Install it with npm install -g commentgate, then sign in with commentgate login.

Keys for your own tools

Scripts and tools that cannot sign in can use a key from Settings, API keys instead. Only owners and admins can create keys, and each key is shown once. See the developer docs.
