Move over from commentguard.io

commentguard.io has no settings export, so the move works by pasting. It takes a few minutes: your words, then your auto-replies. Everything shows in a preview first, and nothing is sent to anyone.

Open Settings, then Import, and under Coming from pick commentguard.io.

1. Your word lists

1. Next to Word lists, click Import.
2. In commentguard.io, open Moderation for a page. Copy the words under Hide keywords.
3. Back in CommentGate, pick Hide these and paste them, one per line or separated by commas.
4. Click Preview, check the list, and click Add.
5. Click Add another list and do the same with the Whitelist, choosing Always keep these. Competitor names go under Competitor names.

Words match whole words, in any case: "sale" does not catch "wholesale". They work on new comments at once, and also go on the blocked words of your TikTok ad accounts. Words already on the list are left as they are.

2. Your auto-replies

Each keyword and reply becomes a draft campaign that you check and turn on.

1. Next to Keyword replies, click Import.
2. Under How should these answer?, pick Reply under the comment, Message the commenter or Answer a direct message.
3. In commentguard.io, open Automations. For each one, type its keywords, then -> and the reply, one per line, for example: price, how much -> It is $29 with free shipping in the US.
4. Or pick Upload a CSV, click Download the template, fill it in and upload it.
5. Click Preview, then Create to make the drafts.
6. Open each draft on Campaigns, check the words and the reply, and click Turn on.

3. Your switches

Profanity, links, phone numbers and the other protections are switches on Setup, not something to import. Turn on the ones you had on in commentguard.io.

Blocked users stay blocked on Facebook and Instagram themselves, so there is nothing to bring over.
