Export comments to CSV
Download the comments behind any report, or every comment on one post or ad, as a spreadsheet.

The comments in a report
- Open Reports and set the dates and filters you want.
- Click the download icon at the top right.
- Choose Download these comments (CSV).
Over 10,000 comments, the choice reads Email these comments (CSV) instead: the download link comes to you by email when it is ready.
Every comment on one post or ad
- In Reports, click the download icon, then One post or ad.
- Paste a Facebook, Instagram or TikTok link, an Ads Manager link, or the post or ad id.
- Tick Include replies to comments if you want the replies too.
- Click Download CSV.
This covers every comment on it, whatever the dates. A very large one comes by email.
You can also download one ad or post from the Most hidden comments table in Reports: click its download icon.
What is in the file
One row per comment, including whether it is a reply. Each export holds up to 50,000 comments.
Members limited to certain accounts only export comments on those accounts.
