Reading your reports
What each number and chart in Reports means, how to change the dates and filters, and where to see your team’s replies and weekly insights.
Updated
Open Reports in the sidebar. The tabs are Overview, Ad health, Team, Insights and Weekly email.
Dates and filters
Pick 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or Custom at the top. Filter narrows by Platform, Account and Where (All, Posts or Ads). Days follow the time zone set in Settings, About the brand.
When you arrive from an alert or a link about one ad or post, a line says "Showing only" that ad or post. Show everything clears it.
Overview
| Number | What it means |
|---|---|
| Received | Comments that came in, and the share that stayed up. |
| Hidden or deleted | Taken down by CommentGate, your rules or your team. On platforms that only allow hiding, this reads Hidden. |
| Waiting for review | Comments still waiting for a person, the same as Needs review in Activity. |
| Replies sent | All replies, and how many your team wrote or approved. |
| Happy comments liked | Shown when you use Like and thank happy comments, with how many were thanked. |
| Time to hide | The median time from a comment arriving to it being hidden. |
The charts below show Comments per day by outcome, Why comments were hidden, and Where comments came from (by platform, account, or posts and ads). Each chart can be shown as a table.
Most hidden comments lists the ads and posts that drew the most hidden comments. Click a name to see its comments.
Reports are history: a comment you archived still counts as hidden here, even though it has left the Hidden view in Activity.
Team
By your team (written or approved), Drafted by CommentGate, Automatic (sent on their own) and Time to reply (median, from arrival). Replies by team member shows who answered how many, and how fast.
Insights
Every Monday, last week's questions, complaints and praise, grouped into themes, with what changed since the week before and a few examples. Pick an earlier week at the top right. Insights cover every account, so members limited to some accounts do not see them.
