The Monday email, and choosing who gets it
What the weekly email covers, when it arrives, how to preview it, and how to add or remove people.
Updated
Every Monday at 8:00 AM in your brand's time zone, CommentGate emails a summary of last week: what customers asked, complained about and praised, what CommentGate handled on its own and what it asked you about, the ads that drew the most scams and spam, and how your campaigns did.
The first one arrives once a full week of comments is in.
Preview it
Open Reports, then Weekly email. You see the subject and the email exactly as it arrives. Pick an earlier week at the top right.
Choose who gets it
- Open Settings, then Alerts.
- Scroll to Monday email.
- Switch each person on or off.
Owners get it unless they turn it off; anyone else can turn it on. You can always change it for yourself. Owners and admins can change it for anyone.
Two kinds of teammate cannot get it, and their switch says why:
- Members limited to some accounts, because the email covers every account.
- Clients, who get their own client reports instead.
Every email has its own unsubscribe link, so anyone can stop it from their inbox.
The time it arrives
It follows the Time zone in Settings, About the brand. For example, US Eastern sends at 8:00 AM Eastern.
In Slack or Discord
A Slack, Discord or webhook alert channel can get a short weekly summary too: tick Weekly summary (Mondays) on that channel. See Alerts.
