Crisis mode: hold every new comment for a person
On a bad day, hold every new comment for review and stop everything automatic, on every account or just some.
Updated
When something goes wrong (a recall, a delayed launch, a post that blew up) you may want every comment seen by a person before anything happens. Crisis mode does that.
While it is on, every new comment waits in Needs review and nothing automatic goes out: no automatic hides, no automatic replies, no campaign or lead messages. Each held comment shows the reason "Crisis mode".
Turn it on
- Open Campaigns in the sidebar, then Crisis mode.
- Leave Every account ticked, or untick it and choose the accounts.
- Under Turn off after, pick 1 hour, 4 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, 3 days or Until I turn it off.
- Click Turn crisis mode on.
A bar across the top of every page says crisis mode is on and how many comments are held, with links to Review and Crisis settings.
Work through what comes in
Click Review held comments (or Review in the bar). Held comments are in Activity's Needs review view. Use the keyboard to go fast: see Answer Needs you fast.
Turn it off
Click Turn crisis mode off on the Crisis mode page, or let the timer run out. Owners get an email summary. Comments still waiting stay in Needs review until someone answers them.
Anyone on your team who can moderate comments can turn crisis mode on and off.
