Invoices, receipts and your payment method
Download invoices and update your card from the billing portal on Plan and billing.
Updated
Everything to do with payments lives in your billing portal: past invoices, the card on file and cancelling.
Open the billing portal
- Open Settings, then Plan and billing.
- Select Payments and invoices.
The portal opens in the same tab. When you are done, its back link returns you to CommentGate.
The button appears once you have chosen a plan. During the free trial there is nothing to invoice, so there is no button yet.
If a payment has failed, the button reads Update payment method instead. Moderation keeps running while the card is retried, so update it soon.
What you will find there
- Invoices: every invoice and payment, each one downloadable as a PDF.
- Payment method: add a new card and remove the old one.
- Cancel: see Change or cancel your plan.
What an invoice shows
- Your plan, billed in advance, monthly or yearly.
- Extra comments and messages from past months, if you went over your allowance, billed for the exact number.
- The difference for any upgrade in the middle of a period.
- Taxes, where the law requires them.
All prices are in US dollars.
A brand billed separately
A brand with its own plan has its own invoices and payment method. Its owners and admins open them from Settings, then Brand billing, with the same Payments and invoices button.
