Refunds

The free trial needs no card, so you can try everything before you pay anything. Once you do pay, these are the rules. They are the same ones in our refund policy and terms of service.

Yearly plans: 30 days, full refund

Cancel a yearly plan within 30 days of its first yearly payment and the whole payment is refunded.

1. Open Settings, then Plan and billing. While the window is open, the plan line says "Cancel before [date] and the yearly payment is refunded in full."
2. Select Payments and invoices and cancel the plan in the billing portal.

The plan ends right away and the refund goes back to the card you paid with. Your bank decides how long it takes to show up. Extra comments and messages you already used past your allowance are still invoiced.

The window applies to your first yearly plan only, once per customer. Cancelling after 30 days, or after a renewal, keeps the plan to the end of the year you paid for, without a refund.

Monthly plans

Monthly payments are not refunded. When you cancel, the plan keeps running until the end of the month you paid for, and it does not renew.

Plan changes

• Upgrades are prorated: you pay only the difference for the rest of the period.
• Smaller plans start at renewal, so nothing is refunded or charged when you schedule one. See Change or cancel your plan.

Something looks wrong

Where the law gives you a right to a refund, that right applies. If you were charged for something you did not expect, contact us with the invoice number from Payments and invoices, and a person will look into it.
